The company was founded in 2005 by Ingo Sexl as the sole shareholder. Since then, I have developed a bundle of highly specialized capabilities to support your IT service management.

As an expert in IT service management, Sitexs offers comprehensive services for the management of software applications.

Once you have defined the needs to take your IT services to the next level, I take over:

  1. All IT service delivery management, including third-party service quality assurance, escalation and stakeholder management, as well as full control and setup of service integration.
  2. Implementation of agile techniques in all IT service management activities, including the development of a Service Value System (SVS) according to ITIL® 4 in order to create value.
  3. Transitions and migrations of IT services, practices and provider changes in hybrid delivery models. Development and control of a modern and agile IT operation in a multidimensional IT landscape.

Sitexs operates interlocked in Global Delivery Models. With the experience of many years in international IT projects, I provide my services worldwide - either with intelligent remote access or onsite.

A positive customer experience and full client attention with every specific action is the only benchmark.

I am a certified IT service manager with considerable skills in co-creation of value for your organization and your consumers through digital service capabilities based on methodical knowledge.

Key accomplishments:

  1. Controlled international IT and ITIL® projects for multinational corporations in the financial services, automotive, pharmaceutical, e-learning, and information technology industries as well as in the public sector.
  2. Built, operated, and oversaw the entire service delivery and application management concurrently for 30 productive software applications for 12 European markets based on the latest state-of-the-art technologies and methods.
  3. Launched 200+ transition projects of varying scale using agile techniques in EMEA and APAC regions.
  4. Designed, transformed, and incorporated service functions, practices, tools, and metrics to meet changing business requirements in multi-layered IT environments.
  5. Certifications: ITIL® 4 Managing Professional, ITIL® V3 Expert in IT Service Management, PRINCE2® Agile Practitioner, COBIT5®.

Company Timeline


The company Sitexs GmbH was established in April 2005, by Ingo Sexl as sole shareholder. This was preceded by a long professional career of the founder in the IT sector as a web developer, project manager and IT service manager.

Right after the foundation of the company, Sitexs took over the complete application operations of all IT systems of the European subsidiaries of BMW Financial Services and Alphabet International GmbH.

Over subsequent assignments, the company continuously grew. Soon it had a staff of 12 employees to operate over 30 productive applications and IT systems, and reached an annual sales volume in the 7-figure range.

As a result of the international crisis-ridden years 2008/2009 and the coherent drop in orders, the companys' founder decided for a business reorientation in 2010.

Since 2011, Ingo Sexl is solely active under the umbrella of the company Sitexs GmbH as a freelance IT service manager and offers his years of experience to his customers.

In recent years, international projects and assignments in complex IT system landscapes have been carried out in an agile manner:

  1. Optimizing operational service management practices based on ITIL® 4 (Area/Location: Europe, Germany).
  2. IT requirements management, from identification to transfer to productive operation. (Area/Location: Europe).
  3. Service transitions and operational tasks for the overall IT environment of one of Germany's largest IT system landscapes.
  4. Planning and control of the transfer of extensive application components into a new additional data center (Area/Location: Europe).
  5. International transition projects of dealer front ends, back office, rating/scoring, and contract management systems (Area/Location: Europe, Asia).
  6. Restructuring of a standardized support model for a multinational application operation (Area/Location: Europe).
